It's been a long time for me since I've held the camera in my hands. It's not very clear to me where this block and disinterest come from. I spend most of the days watching movies, playing video games and fighting with my conscience over ethical matters.
Travel does actually motivate my imagination and return my passion temporarily to camera, but since I've no job and thus no money, I cannot actually travel often.
This is not a depressing journal, but rather a message to unravel my oppressed emotions. A message to myself.
I've recently watched "The Great Beauty" Aka "La Grande Bellezza". It's about Jep Gambardella, a popular and truly talented author who wrote a masterpiece acknowledged by the literary community around him. For those of you who haven't seen the movie yet, YOU DEFINITELY SHOULD. Gambardella continues living his playful life looking for inspiration and motivation again which he will find somewhat at the end when he gets overwhelmed by The beauty that he was not success to find before.
So a message to this poor lost soul. Don't surrender to your comfort zone, and go out there find your inspiration again. You owe it to yourself.
"Travel exercise the imagination. All the rest is disappointment and fatigue."
